The Canadian Interior designer Sabrina Albanese is responsible for this fantastic project. Albanese projected this home to provide a relaxing yet luxurious penthouse in Toronto with a fantastique and unique terrace with a stupendous city view.
This modern apartment is located in the metropolitan Canadian city of Toronto. The penthouse is complemented with a smooth aesthetic terrace that contains a hint of nature, giving the observation experience of a breath-taking view of the city. Albanese communicates her interior passion by using unique outlines, textiles, and colorways with an undeniable energy reflected in the project. She refers to it as a “serene sea of neutrality, making the occupants the captains calling the shots.”.
Albanese felt the necessity to do a well-planned scheme to make justice to the perspective of the space. The brand new and charming building with a stupendous panorama was enough for the proprietors to not choose a more substantial space. Since the apartment is exceptionally well located and has good viewing, it was a big challenge to do justice and do a well-balanced project, overflowing the beauty of the terrace view into the apartment’s inside.
Sabrina says, “It was important to create an intimate, usable, and idyllic inviting space that would connect the interiors with the remarkable,” as the terrace is an escape filled with plants and cozy furniture, with a modern and minimalist combination of lines and textures. “With serene and timeless interiors, the terrace became both a place to enjoy the spectacular city views and a destination in itself,” she adds.
Acquired to the previous brief that requires a luxurious and sleek look, the luxurious penthouse in Toronto interior space composed of 260 sqm combined with the 185 sqm terrace is penetrated with elegance and results in the perfect merge between the high-performing materials and the comfort that turns this space into a soothing apartment.
The modern tones and the contemporary decor inside the luxurious penthouse in Toronto reflect the owner’s personalities, mixing textures and lines. The living room design is modern and classic, having it’s Mohair Swivel chairs combined with textured rugs, using grey tones all over this area.
The dining room design follows the same ambient as the living room having at the same time modern and simple lines decor and a distinctive bronze glass chandelier. The apartment’s monochromatic color palette can be noticed in every home’s area, always keeping a predominant use of greys, black, and using wood details. There’s also a common use of contemporary wall covering, which adds a special note to this luxurious penthouse in Toronto.
The kitchen design follows up the woody details present in the rest of the luxurious penthouse and is also composed of white-veneered cabinets, stone countertops, and leather-upholstered metal breakfast stools combining modernity and chic.
For Albanese is essential to choose her clients carefully, “I often find myself inspired by something from their lifestyle or a place they vacation to; and bring these inspirations to the conceptual table. It allows me to investigate what will make them truly feel joy. Then I study floor plans, architectural intent and then build off of that.” she says.
The bathroom’s design complements the penthouse, with the wooden details, monochromatic color palette and adding exquisite furniture pieces.
