Inside a Parisian Apartment with an Eiffel Tower Vista

Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet embark on a new design adventure of a Parisian Apartment.  The old and overlooked apartment caught the owners’ attention, who saw its location as its true potential. With a splendid view of the Jardin des Tuileries and an even better vista of the Eiffel Tower, the owners were sold and convinced they knew exactly who they needed to call that would be up for this challenge. Having worked with them on a previous interior design project, they knew to trust Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet to design their new apartment and give it the excellence they needed.  The duo Humbert & Poyet, soon realized that the Parisian apartment required more than just revamping, this apartment had been left on the side for a long time, and everything needed to be revisited. They quite literally had to renovate almost everything, and the floor plans had to be revisited; as in the original plan, the kitchen was located at the end of the apartment, and the owners needed it to be more of a focal point of their home.  One thing that they tried hard to salvage somehow was the parquet flooring since everything else was almost impossible to restore or salvage. They gave it a new chance to try to shine, and the end result was just extraordinary. It resembled a Versailles parquet thanks to the very detail-oriented duo.  An important contributor to the design was the owners, who were part of almost every decision on their home. They were closely part of the design. Their exquisite art collection helped Humbert & Poyet with their original plan, designing around these masterpieces, emphasizing the presence of the art pieces just enough to keep the space like home and not a museum. Therefore, the dining room has a painting by Christopher Wool as its centerpiece, both sides of which are bespoke cabinets, and in the center of the room is a 10 people’s bespoke, inlaid dining table designed by Humbert & Poyet themselves. The atmosphere created is just the perfect space to gather people and enjoy spending time together with family and friends.  Parisian Apartment Perfect View This Parisian apartment’s living room is where you get to see the Eiffel Tower, so it’s the space that got extra attention. The De Sede sofa is positioned so it looks over the Eiffel Tower, in front of which there is a bespoke fireplace with a mirror/TV on top of it.  The apartment’s orientation, specifically of the living room, which fac south, incentivized the owners to leave the space open and windows without curtains, soaking in all the beautiful and warm sunlight.  Humbert & Poyet’s amazing ability of tactual sensation and sensibility to combine materials, colors, textures, and surfaces effortlessly made this apartment modern and warm simultaneously. The kitchen island also became its own masterpiece of the house, as it was completely moved to the center of this Parisian apartment. As soon as you look at the kitchen, you will be greeted by a marvelous custom-made green marble with Dornbracht fixtures and Bassam Fellows walnut chairs. The color palette of the interior design of this apartment was masterfully managed by the talented duo. They played with the palette provided in this Parisian apartment. The colors utilized in the apartment and all of its shades in between. The browns, the grays, the creams, and the sand shades matched perfectly with all the furniture, the flooring, and every design element utilized in this charming design. ARE YOU INTO INTERIOR DESIGN? 10 Apartment Interior Designs Ideas to Get Inspired

Who doesn’t love to get inspired by apartments’ interior design? Although tricky, designing your space is challenging most in the most delightful way. Here are 10 examples where you will definitely find yourself fantasizing about revamping your apartment. 1. Psyche by One Space Design In Chengdu, China, an apartment designed by a local architecture firm is calling attention. One Design Studio embraced this apartment’s very high ceiling and strategically placed the contemporary and midcentury-inspired furniture to emphasize the space and the minimalistic approach. One detail used by the firm was to avoid unnecessary divisions that would take off from the ample space. Instead, they used a bookshelf to just give the right amount of separation without taking off the brightness and openness of the space. 2. Tribeca loft by Andrea Leung Architect Andrea Leung, used reflection as her main tool when renovating a 1600 sq ft historic apartment in New York. She came to an elegantly simple solution that evokes interaction between all the elements that compose an interior design. The interaction of materials, textures, and shapes evokes a poetic tension that touches people in a way they can’t explain, making them appreciate and enjoy the design. Playing with reflections and surprises brought architectural curiosities up, which, combined with the right pieces, created a space of simplistic modernism. 3. Tableau penthouse by KSR Architects & Interior Designers Located in Central London, this originally the show home of 23 unit, became now one apartment that belongs to a private owner. The owner worked closely with the London-based KSR Architects & Interior Designers to create the perfect mix of luxurious and cozy, blending the modern with the classical, the old with the new. The space has a few statement pieces that stand out and call attention and also represent the strong character of the resident. His art collection is purposefully placed throughout the apartment to perfectly match the interior design. 4. The Cortland by Robert AM Stern Architects and Olson Kundig This luxurious New York residence designed by Olson Kunding, placed in the building created by Robert AM Stern Architects, gave us a taste of what is to be living in such apartments. The designers found the right balance of refined and abundant aesthetic. The design is open with statement pieces of lighting elements that sophisticate the neutral palette used in the interior design. The high-quality design doesn’t just include the interior decoration but also the exterior, the materials used for assembling elevate this scaleless building even more. 5. Apartment XVIII by Studio Razavi Architecture This XVIIIth century mansion is located in one of the oldest areas of Paris, close to churches, squares, private homes, and overall a unique mix of the surroundings. When Studio RAvazi took charge of the design of this mansion, it had previously been through many changes that tried to go further from the home’s original design. This made Studio Ravazi start literally from scratch with the design. The designers said, “Natural light was their material of choice.” It comes in three different directions, and it could be celebrated from inside the building to emphasize the beauty of its original beams, columns, and walls. Furnished with vintage and modern pieces, this interior design became something completely different from what it was. They didn’t play as much with material as they did with form and shape, which gave this unique look to the whole mansion. 6. Neuilly Project by Sandra Benhamou It is always important to know who the residents of an apartment will be to determine the approach to the interior design that the designer took. In this specific example, the owner made this Parisian apartment design by Sandra Benhamou. The owners are a couple of art collectors who wanted their 120 sqm apartment in a 1970s building to showcase that. Imagining a flowing space, with almost no divisions, where art predominated everything. The natural customized materials used for the kitchen, bookshelves, and wardrobes, together with the colors selected, which mostly stand in the warm earth tones, create the perfect space for the artistic couple to live in, and the furniture featured was also hand-picked by the homeowners and designer together. 7. The Penthouse of the OPUS ONE by T.K. CHU Design On the 34th floor of the OPUS ONE, a big complex building in Hangzhou, China, is a distinctive penthouse. The luxurious design was in the good hands of T.K. Chu Design, a Shanghai firm led by T. K. Chu. They took charge of this high-rise apartment interior to bring it to the next level. The inspiration, in this case, was the altitude; being on such a high floor, the panoramic view is almost an areal view of the whole city, but especially of both the Qiantang River and West lake. The floor-to-ceiling windows were a must, but they also aimed to dominate white around the apartment, with playful furniture and art pieces popping the right amount of color and extravagance needed for the space. 8. DN apartment by Bruno Carvalho Arquitectos The 1970s residential building block in Sao Paulo, Brazil, showcases a different style of apartment interior redecoration by the leading architect and designer Bruno Carvalho and the local architecture and design firm BC Arquitectos. As often mentioned, going for less is often more modern; the designer’s choice to allow the house’s concrete elements to be exposed was a bold move that paid off. The concrete and the natural walnut hues blend together seamlessly with the furniture pieces carefully selected from Brazilian modernist masters. 9. Mexico City Penthouse by Simon Hamui A bit different from the usual minimalist, the neutral palette used in most modern minimalist designs, this luxurious penthouse located in the center of Mexico City exhibits darker palettes and richer textures combined. Designed by Mexican design firm Simon Hamui, this modern interior went for a more unique selection of bespoke pieces of furniture, like the dining table, the doors, fireplace, and bookcase. 10. Apartment in Udine by Cristina Celestino And last but not

A Contemporary Apartment in Paris full of Charm Designed by Le Berre Vevaud

This contemporary apartment in Paris has Le Berre Vevaud’s signature and a delightful interior full of charm that can inspire any interior project. A beautiful building that just turned one hundred is the address of this contemporary apartment in Paris, a place that once was a single-home mansion with a luxury façade – arched windows and ornamental pilasters. But if the apartment’s exterior has a lot of charm, the interior can be surprised by the elegant choices and art objects that fulfill this home. When the owners bought this apartment, the mansion had already been divided into two units. The result was an interior with 320 square and some issues- the flow was hard between the spaces, and the ground floor and kitchen seemed like a little lot in the area. Vevaud and the owners decided that it was time for a remodel. The designer blended the classical details from the apartment with contemporary touches- a specialty of Le Berre Vevaud’s work. Some highlights of the remodel are the minimalist fireplace in the living room and the addition of a mezzanine above the kitchen. The work aimed to give the space a connexion between the different areas of the apartment. The interior of this contemporary apartment in Paris shows a predominance of a black and white palette and graphic elements. Inspired by the latticework found in the Middle East and North Africa, irregular patterns help to bring an artistic vibe to the space, combined with other interior choices that make this space stunning. The renovation also increases the space with a luxurious spiral staircase – one of the beautiful stars of this charming apartment that helps separate the entry room from the living area. The black and white palette is combined with shaped furniture that helps to give the space a unique layout- combining modern pieces and classical aesthetics. This contemporary apartment in Paris is charming and has a lot of surprises – in the basement of the house, Vevaud projected a spa area – a request from the owners for a well-being space. In this space, a lightwell helps natural light to flow and also allows a patio outdoor. Besides, the spa also counts with a hammam, jacuzzi, and walls made from shuttered concrete. A Peaceful Apartment In London Full of Soft Tones

This peaceful apartment in London translates everything that the owner, Marie-Cassandre Bultheel, believes -besides it’s a calm place with a minimalist vibe that makes anyone feels at home. Marie-Cassandre is a french entrepreneur who dedicates herself to sharing her holistic view of integrated well-being. When she started to think about her dream home – she decided that the space should translate her beliefs and environmental responsibilities. For her dream home, she chose London’s Chelsea neighborhood as the location, an apartment on a second Empire-style in Earl’s Court Square as the perfect spot, and Olga Ashby as her interior designer. An ideal trio to turn Bultheel’s dreams into reality. The apartment, a two-level, one-bedroom with 80 square meters, had potential- but needed changes to achieve Bultheel’s desires for a peaceful home. After some time and with a clear concept, the result was a home that translated Bultheel’s lifestyle and beliefs. A place that is full of inspiration with rich textures and natural materials. The palette from the apartment shows nude tons and earthy colors, choosing to give a charming and peaceful vibe to the place- But more than that, to turn the area into a refugee from the big noisy city. This apartment in London has a mix of different types of finishes combined with wool-cashmere- the materials chosen also show Bultheel’s beliefs; the wood, for example, is sourced from sustainable forest. As Bultheel loves arches, the designer chooses them as a key element for the entire apartment – a point in common that gives harmony to the interior layout. Similarly, the soft tone and curved lines also give rhythm to this space where modern furniture meets the owner’s personal belongings- transforming the place into a contemporary and meaningful apartment. Marie-Cassandre has a specific holistic view of the well-being- for her it was essential to live in a harmonious place. A feng shui ext helped create a peaceful place that met Butheels’s needs, especially meditating and writing. Ultimately, this apartment in London translates everything that Butheels dreamed of and reveals a place full of peace that makes everyone feel at home. ARE YOU INTO INTERIOR DESIGN? This Luxury Apartment in Milan, Designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis, is a Tribute to the History

With views leading to Castello Sforezco, this apartment in Milan is a tribute to the history with contemporary touches. Castello Sforzesco is one of the notable spots of Milan – a castle that dates from the 14th century with a lot of history and that nowadays is one of the famous postcards of the city- a beautiful space that is also the house of some design galleries. This remarkable castle surrounds the 19th building, which Vincenzo de Cottis was responsible for redesigning. When Vincenzo de Cotiis received the redesign task for this historical apartment in Milan, he immediately thought it should be a tribute to the city’s history. Inspired by Castello Sforezco, Cotiis first researched the area to understand how the history of Milan changed with the years – reflecting on the architecture and how it defines the relationship between people and the space. According to the designer – time and space can reflect on the individuals as the architecture. It inspired Cottis to create a synergy between present and past. The focus was a space that homages its history but also a place where the owner’s teenage daughter could feel at home – blending past and present – the solution was to highlight the area with furniture and objects that add a modern vibe and accomplish the building’s history. Cotiis’s idea was to have a dialogue between the redesign and the history of the space – his work can be seen by the details – like in the refurbished arches, custom furniture, and accessories. Adding elements- not changing – the narrative from this historical apartment in Milan. For the redesigned layout, Cotiis used luxury materials from the 20th and neutral colors inspired by Milan City and his famous signature. This apartment shows a contemporary style with a mix of textures that highlights its historical interior and brings a peaceful vibe to this home. The furniture helped to personalized this space and brought the perfect balance between modernity and the past. At Hommés Studio, you can find contemporary pieces that suit any luxury project. As a city that tells its history through the streets and buildings, this apartment in Milan rewrites its narrative- starting a beautiful new chapter and showing that present and past can walk together – at least when discussing interior design. A Renovated Apartment With Pink Tones In Italy

A Renovated Apartment With Pink Tones In Italy

Inside an Elegant and Functional Renovated Apartment with Pink Tones Designed by Cristina Celestino in Udine, Italy. This pinky-toned apartment is located in Udine, Italy, which borders Slovenia and Austria. Aside from the bilingual streets and some Slavic and German influences, the town of Udine is very much Italian, especially the brutalist buildings that are present in this city positioned like Lego blocks. With no exception, this renovated apartment is located in one of these buildings, and it was the canvas for the Milanese designer Cristina Celestino to succeed. The designer improved this apartment with grace and refinement, originally constructed by Massimo Camillo Bodini in the late 1970s. The building is well known because it stands on the main road leading to the city. When it was built, it was considered technically structurally and conceptually futuristic. The homeowners of this fantastic renovated apartment are a middle-aged couple that lived in a house with a garden in the Venetian countryside. They are passionate about Udine, and they desired this 70’s building particularly. Before the redesign, the apartment transmitted a dull and lifeless traditional vibe. It needed a breath of fresh air due to the potential of the space. The clients requested an elegant and functional home but with a suitable amount of color and material usage. Hereupon, Cristina, with her talent, chose an alluring color palette, where pink dominates , using her design supremacy. When doing this renovated apartment project, the designer explored a new form of living set. Cristina studied and designed the project of the medium-sized apartment (120 square meters), concentrating on the illumination to interpret and enhance this area with an entirely female sensibility when it comes to materials and aesthetics. In this architecture by Bodini, angular and squared volumes are combined with delicate shapes, such as the rounded lines of the stairwells or the circular canopy of the main entrance. The designer’s observant look allowed her to intervene with calculated counterpoints to the original plan from the exterior to the interior. As the clients wanted the renovated apartment to be functional, everything maintained was carefully studied in detail to suit their needs. Furthermore, to build the richness of a new atmosphere, the wall-to-wall carpets, famous in the seventies, were removed. The relationship with the exterior and its classic-monumental rigor was brought out by paving the whole living area with the same kind of Roman travertine as the terrace. In the living room, Cristina added framed windows with bronzed aluminum and stairwells with pink plaster. She also utilized Roman travertine to deliver the split-level area a sunny feeling of harmony and perfection. The striking blue conversation table contrasted with custom-designed baby pink chairs are combined with other stunning features such as the outstanding brick-colored sofa and the powder-coated sheet-metal center table, giving the renovated apartment living room a modern setup with a swish 70s edge. In the new set of soothing and opaque surfaces, with a nearly velvety texture, the lowered area of the living room was then emphasized with a 40 cm high lateral plinth. The paneled curtains screen the full-height terrace doors, and the internal windows are the original ones: matt black wood surrounds, polyester lacquered panels, and brass handles. The dining area, adjacent to the kitchen, has been partially shielded by inserting a fixed piece of custom furniture with the function of a planter that connects to the grey bench that is positioned against the wall that is also configurated as a functional storage space. There’s a black square table with a glass top and the same colored folding chairs in the dining room. This pleasant sensation was created by using travertine on the flooring and selecting the pale pink shade to accentuate the long walls of the renovated apartment. From the living room, an oval porthole door leads the way into the custom-designed kitchen, mirroring a bull’s eye door before a banquet on a cruise ship. The cabinets were tailor-made. The two-toned matt lacquered with the wall units rising to the ceiling replicates the wall’s hues, while the worktops and splashback produce shades of travertine. To compliment, the taps, plinth, and handle strip are in matt black. In the master bedroom, the wall behind the headboard is in the same brick tone as the functional volume in the living room. Cristina used a simple wall light with matt black metal discs that bonds with the bed – an iconic metal piece with brass details, very light and airy, exhorting the eyes to look to the true star of the show—the travertine underneath. One of the elements that Cristina found fascinating in this renovated apartment was the interior doors. They are authentic with a very unique and impressive design. She appreciates, particularly the burgundy-lacquered door panels with brass handles. The pink walls also play a significant role in this project. The paintings that are present on the wallls vivify them, offering the renovated apartment a whimsical side. Cristina decided to keep the original floor plan because it is very functional and modern. The practical interventions that the designer made balance the area’s eye appeal. For example, a brick-colored partition stands between the dining area and the entrance while serving as a functional pantry and a storage space. The retro-future furnishings are a selection of great classics and contemporary pieces, adding a warm sensation to the mise en scène and the close ties with the history of the place, where travertine has become the reference paradigm. Between finishes and experimental juxtapositions, the designer chose this material for the renovated apartment because it is very stimulating. Source: YellowTrace ARE YOU INTO INTERIOR DESIGN? Inside An Art-Filled Luxury Home in Hollywood Hills

Inside An Art-Filled Luxury Home in Hollywood Hills

A Collaboration Between the Art Adviser John Wolf and his Long-Time Friend Adam Bram Straus Resulted in this Luxury Home in Hollywood Hills, California. The art adviser John Wolf has teamed up with the designer and old friend Adam Bram Straus to revitalize a house in the Hollywood Hills, California, but this time, as John Wolf’s home. Nearly 20 years ago, the Los Angeles-based John Wolf lived his best life in a midcentury Hollywood apartment, which he remembers as a friendly and jovial small complex. When Wolf lived there, he was drawn to another tenant, Adam Bram Straus, a former investment banker who had reinvented himself as an interior designer. Adam’s apartment was one of the trendiest there, and then the two became friends. Later, when Wolf moved to his new apartment, he asked Straus to design it for him. Straus suggested Wolf as an art adviser to some of his interior design clients, and shortly Wolf was picking up his clients, including renamed designers. Fast-forward to the present, Straus’s design firm and John Wolf Art Advisory & Private Brokerage are succeeding, and the two friends and collaborators concluded their third L.A. home for Wolf. Situated in the Hollywood Hills, this 1971 luxury home, with generous outdoor spaces and alluring views of the city, was purchased by Wolf from a person with distinctive tastes. Although the old house had a massive infrastructure investment, the finishes were senseless and confusing. Outside the 1970s home, a chain sculpture, cactuses in ceramic pots, and a custom bench line the swimming pool’s perimeter. It also overlooks Nicholas Canyon beach in Los Angeles. Wolf urged on conserving a few of the previous homeowner’s quirky touches. The perfect evidence is the powder room with a Star Wars-themed flocked wallpaper and its display of wall-mounted vanity mirrors on top of the sink. He also decided to keep the dazzling mosaic tilework, a storm of psychedelic glass pixels, lining the shower and tub in the primary bath. For the rest, Straus had a carte blanche to do everything he wanted in this luxury home. Before this sumptuous interior design project, the kitchen looked like a “black hole,” which is now a serene focal point equipped with lavish walnut cabinets and expanses of Silver River marble. The interior wall’s chosen shade was a smooth, chalky white, while the exterior plays the opposite role, being an all-black area. The seating throughout the luxury home can be found, from the chairs in the indoor dining area to a sofa and armchairs in the family room. A combination of pieces by diverse designers in this luxury home are placed against this neutral backdrop – a stool paired with vintage gems such as the cocktail table in the living room, a floating burled-wood console in the family room, and multiple marble tables. The muted mise-en-scène also gives Wolf’s art collection, which he constantly rotates, to have a chance to breathe. An elegant artwork overlooks the dining room’s wood table and is combined with elegant vintage chairs, which are upholstered in beautiful brown cashmere. The tiny portraits surround a painting above the sideboard. An outstanding sculpture stands opposite. Wolf enjoys having art pieces from artists he works with. He considers this luxury home as a living record of those relationships, filled with works from shows he has curated. A massive, striking painting transmits animation to the luxurious home seating room. This area is complemented with an exquisite brown puffer sofa alongside a pair of shearling stools. The guest bathroom gives continuity to the artsy aesthetic of this luxury home, featuring an exclusive artwork that is combined with a unique black stool. The concrete floors and brick patio were replaced with a gray terrazzo. This renovation wasn’t only focused on the interiors. Wolf notes that Straus has created spaces for beautiful self-growth. The luxury home’s charming rooftop with a garden viewing deck is loaded with lush plantings that thas a pair of stone benches to chill up with a book by the firepit on the terrace lounge or even relax in the hot tub. Lush plants drape a wall along the dining terrace. Now that Wolf is settled in, he plans to write the next chapter for this sanctuary with the same kind of profoundly personal vision he brings to his exhibitions. He loves the concept of bringing somebody’s creative tradition and then adding details to it, giving it a shared history, to independently who owns this house next, will have a story to tell about the people who lived in this luxury home before. living room from a modern apartment

A modern apartment in Rome full of personality

This modern apartment in Rome shows that sometimes it’s just necessary a bold home decor to turn a vintage space into a cool and modern house. What would you expect from an apartment that has remained unaltered since the following unification of Italy? Maybe you are thinking about an old space full of antiques and a vintage vibe. So, this apartment will surprise you.   Located in Rome, this flat was practically unaltered since its construction after the unification of Italy. Therefore we expect this apartment to be a vintage place; this is a modern apartment full of personality and cool vibes.  The layout of this modern apartment is simple and has remained since its construction. The place is divided into six equal rooms connected by a corridor.  So what makes this modern apartment so unique? What gives the cool and sophisticated vibe that we mentioned? The answer is the details. The remodeling project of this apartment was conducted by the architect Massimo Adario, who transformed this place into a lively reference with classic hints.  One of the highlights of this modern apartment is the fantastic floors. Entering this house is like an incredible journey through different shapes, types, and colors; this is an unexpected but beautiful work on each floor from this place.  The interior design of this apartment is full of surprises, turning the home decor into a funny task to analyze. Like in the kitchen, where the floor goes from different colors – soft pink, grey, white and black – it is completed with a pastel blue cabinet, cream walls, and some furniture from the 20th century. Like in this room, every detail here goes from a fun vibe to a vintage and luxury style.  This modern apartment proves that it’s possible to go through classic and contemporary styles. The study and library room is the actual proof of it – this room is covered with wallpaper from the 18th century and blends it with bold furniture and an incredible suspension lamp.  Hommés Studio has some incredible suspension lamps that turn any space into a modern and luxury one: Contemporary furniture shows up in the living room, combined with a selection of art and crafts, giving this space a unique vibe and showing that there is no wrong answer when the topic is mixed styles in an interior design project.  This modern apartment in Rome is everything we didn’t expect; it’s fun, luxurious, and contemporary. It’s a mix between styles and colors- just the perfect inspiration for any home decor.  Source: Yellow Track / Project: Massimo Adario / Photos: Sisters Agency. DO YOU LOVE INTERIOR DESIGN? artsy penthouse living room

The Modern and Stunning Jorge M Pérez’s Artsy Penthouse

A home decor where art is the main element, this is the fantastic artsy penthouse from the collector and real estate Jorge M Pérez, where modern and artistic styles meet. In most homes, art elements meet interior design to complete the final look, like the last piece that makes a space glow. But in this artsy penthouse, the story was different; here, the art was the central element of the home decor.  To understand this home decor better, we should point out that this artsy penthouse is from one of the most significant art collectors, Jorge M Pérez, who since a young age preferred to have lithographs over rock posters decoring the walls.  Paintings and sculptures always surrounded Pérez and his family, but they lived in a baronial Venetian-style palazzo before this artsy penthouse. After more than two decades, it was time for a significant change- the family decided that they wanted to move to a modern and minimalist space- but of course, without forgetting the art collection.  They find the ideal home for this vital transformation: a trio of residential towers developed by a design team. Shoheu Shigematsu from Rem Koolhaas was the lead architect, Enzo Enear was responsible for the garden, and Will Meyer and Gray Davis managed the interiors. Art is in almost every detail here – from the inspiration for the building façade to the interior, where they help to give life to the home.  This penthouse is almost a home museum where the owners can live surrounded by their beloved art collection. The interior design work was more than hanging frames on the wall; the artistic elements defined the spaces. Some central elements dictated the interior design process. For example, an outsize sculpture of crumpled metal was the main piece for the furniture choices in the living room.  In the Office, the collection of football players took the room’s attention. For this space, the interior design choice was to go with white walls and bold furniture to give harmony and help the art elements shine. Another highlight of this artsy penthouse is the main bedroom, where one of Pérez’s favorite paintings is the room’s key attention point and fulfills the ambient. Although the art elements are the real stars in this apartment, the interior design gave this space a luxurious, comfortable, and minimalist vibe. After all, living with art is possible – and this artsy penthouse is the evidence.  DO YOU LOVE INTERIOR DESIGN? A 1 Bedroom Apartment With a Colorful Home Decor in Istanbul

A 1 Bedroom Apartment With a Colorful Home Decor in Istanbul

Discover This Vibrant and Colorful Home Decor in the Only 1 Bedroom Apartment in Bebek, Istanbul Designed by Merve Kahraman. This interior design project can be not very extravagant in terms of size, but the vibrant and energetic colors in the most varied forms present in the home decor of this one-bedroom apartment turn this space into a fascinating and memorable spot. Located in Bebek, the Pied-á-Terre by Merve Kahraman has a view of the Bosphorus. This outstanding apartment was designed to be the second home for a new york-based single professional. The 110-square-meter property was developed by combining vibrant and colorful home decor. The homeowner decided to acquire this explosion of vibrant colors and energetic forms to spend more time with friends and family. When Kaharman had already designed the client’s home when he was in New York, he risked adding some playful and out-of-the-box shades and finishes. It could have gone wrong, and initially, the client hesitated, but at the end of the project, she absolutely loved every detail as well as the chosen colors – greens, pinks, and blue hues. The idealized concept was to create diversity and distinguished home decor by designing multiple spaces with different aesthetics in this fresh and cozy apartment situated in the heart of Bosphorus. The designer also desired to create variety in order to turn this space into a delightful place, and not a tiny and dull space, regarding the volume’s long rectangular shape and uneven walls – a typical characteristic of old buildings in Turkey. Most of the furniture, lighting, and rugs were custom made by Merve Kahraman design studio, combining together vintage founds and modern accessories. Such as the green velvet sofa in the living room, there are many other remarkable home decor pieces in this apartment. With a solid pink presence in this interior design project, the pink leather banquette gave continuity to the color scheme idea. This unique piece with vintage vibes is used as a working and dining area with integrated lighting and an electrical outlet. The pastel pink seat is combined with a white oak dining table with marble legs and a pair of checkered black and white poufs. Every element of this space is unique, such as this stunning mint green chandelier and its white base. While the interior layout was a challenge, some elements simply feel that make sense to fit in, like this piano that is situated across the entrance, giving a memorable factor as soon as the visitors come along, working almost like a welcoming item. This home decor piece is positioned alongside a charming velvet stool and a painting above it. Our EROS STOOL is also a great seating suggestion: The details are extremely important in this interior design project. Kahraman emphasized the matter of the wood marquetry technique in this apartment by utilizing it in various home decor items. They are entirely handmade, and all of the shelves and drawers inside were only produced after a process of measuring all the shoes and documents the client has for those spaces. For the powder room, the designer opted for an enchanting wallpaper that it’s the prominent feature of this space, giving it an utterly differentiated look. In this room, there’s also a custom-made arched mirror with two different shades and a few home decor accessories. Alongside the wallpaper, the ceiling also gives authenticity and refinement to the powder room. There is a delightful nook in the bedroom that works as a reading area and a bed for visitors with storage under it. The nook has blue stucco-painted walls and a bookshelf. It is decorated with red and white striped seating, cushions, and valance. For the terrace, Kahraman chose furniture with custom selected green and white striped seating with a classic vibe. While the project was delayed by manufacturing and production uncertainties, the final project resulted in this eclectic and playful second home. Source: YellowTrace ARE YOU INTO INTERIOR DESIGN?
