Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Tiffany & Co. Campaign Was Shot at An Incredible Bel-Air Mansion

Tiffany & Co.’s new About Love campaign is a commemoration of modern love and an internet sensation thanks to the presence of Beyoncé and Jay-Z.  In the initial images released on Monday, Beyoncé is wearing a curve-clutching black dress hanging the floor while highlighting her figure. Her look is similar to Audrey Hepburn’s ensemble in the 1961 film, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. On the other side, Jay-Z radiates tailored elegance in a black tux, silk bow tie, and diamond-encrusted brooch. As hard as it is to divert your eye from the power couple, Beyoncé and Jay-Z,  in these gorgeous images, the background setting is also spectacular and remarkable. For example, the painting by Jean-Michel Basquiat behind them. It is part of a private collection; it is its first time unveiling to the public. The ornate artwork, titled Equals Pi, displays Basquiat’s signature algebraic symbols, geometric shapes, and crown iconography. The color of the painting is also oddly an exact match of the Pantone 1837 Blue, also known as Tiffany Blue. The context behind the painting is up for interpretation. However, people have thought that Basquiat’s text, “Knowledge of the Cone,” references Edgar Dale’s Cone of Experience model. So, the painting suggests that people learn better from actively doing and practicing rather than just reading and observing. The campaign’s location is the acclaimed Orum Residence in Los Angeles, peaking over the vast scenic landscape of Bel-Air. The residence was designed by a local firm SPF Architects. The mansion measures 18,800 square feet and includes three rectangular wings that overhang out in different directions from a central point. Tiffany & Co. confirms that the mansion was personally chosen by Beyoncé and Jay-Z as the superb spatial background for the shoot. The angular wood chair where Jay-Z is seen sitting ii comes from the private collection of Brazilian design dealer Ulysses De Santi and his partner, former Hauser & Wirth director Graham Steele. The chair, called Cubo, was designed by Jorge Zalszupin and produced in the 1970s. Come September 15, Tiffany & Co. will release a video to go along with the still images, where, according to De Santi, many more modern furnishings will be revealed. Carden Cunietti transform a 19th-century house into a genuine jewel box

Cunietti, born in New York, had a major residential project in Ireland and recruited the Glasgow-born Carden to help her. After the project, which went very well, the designers decided to join forces and created CARDEN CUNIETTI in 1996. Also, launched in 1996, the store gained a loyal following for its eclectic range of accessories. However, after 11 years, the way the designers combined old and new had been stolen by many other stores, and they decided to leave from retail. The duo Audrey Carden and Eleanora Cunietti transform a 19th-century house into a real jewel box, introducing stunning decorations. Audrey Carden and Eleanora Cunietti met through their boyfriends who, at the time, played in the same band. At the time, both were interior decorators. For the designers, renovating a London home was a much less extraordinary task. Their clients had decided to move from a five-story house to a smaller house in Westminster. The house is light and welcoming on the outside. However, inside the house, all the period details had been removed by the previous owners. The designers had one goal: to bring the house to life. Not just with a simple restoration, but by adding enough stunning elements to make it something like a jewelry box. Entrance Carden admits that her customers are people who like to entertain, so the entrance to the house is not just an entrance. Instead, it is a space of celebration, of welcome. The designers planned the floor in black and white marble, matching the ceiling’s plaster panel. If you barely notice the ceiling, blame it on the giant green glass chandelier. However, the most dramatic features of the room, which the clients already had from the old house, are the large glass panels by Cypriot artist Yorgos Papadopoulos. Living Room The living room is close to the garden, so it has a relatively tranquil vibe and always feels light, even on a gray London day. The unusually high wood of the baseboard contrasts with the white plaster of the wall. The fireplace is travertine and brass and adds much elegance to the space, along with the two blue armchairs. His office Carden, for this project, wanted to do a red lacquer ceiling, and so he did, in his office. The matching painting, depicting a figure reclining on a red floor, is by William Kentridge. The custom sofa, covered in velvet, turns a corner, allowing those sitting on it to watch the television. Her office It is a reasonably long room with a lot of solid surfaces. The goal in this space was to soundproof it a bit, and they achieved that. They upholstered the tops of the walls in light blue linen. The sofa belongs to the owners’ old house but recovered in a red fabric. Dining room The designers thickened the walls to allow the house’s bronze and flat glass doors to open proportionally. This way, it is possible to have large spaces without anything interrupting the passage. The dining table is by British furniture manufacturer Davidson. Kitchen The client loves to cook, so the kitchen needed to be practical and functional, and sociable. In this way, it was possible to create a breakfast nook to have a place for people to sit and hang out. Master Bedroom Everything in the bedroom is pretty neutral, to give a sense of calm and relaxation. Murano lighting and other vintage pieces give the space a soft and romantic feel. Master bathroom At the clients’ request, the designers designed a hotel bathroom. Thus, they decided to use black and white marble to achieve a luxurious hotel feel. The makeup table and mirror are custom made. The fabric of the stools is from C&C Milano, and the light fixtures are antiques. Daughter’s Bedroom The task was to make a space that was comfortable for studying but also a bit glamorous. The sliding mirror on the desk works well for makeup and hair and hides the more practical things stored on the shelves. Daughter’s bathroom The client’s daughters are beautiful women, so the goal was a fun bathroom where they could get ready for their nights on the town. She achieved this by combining Art Deco motifs with colors and marble. The house took about four months to design and 14 months to build. Throughout the spaces, there is a lot of detail work. What Is Holistic Interior Design?

WHAT IS HOLISTIC INTERIOR DESIGN? Holistic interior design, or wellbeing design, is an approach to interior design that supports the wellness of the mind, body, and soul. This is a multidisciplinary interior design field since it combines biophilic design, color psychology, human biology, and ergonomics, among others. The goal of holistic interior design is to design spaces that look good, feel good and actually promote your physical, mental, and spiritual health. Approaching interior design holistically is to understand that the spaces in which we live affect how we live and how we feel. In architecture, holistic design acknowledges the importance of creating an atmosphere around us that is supportive to both our inner and outer senses. Holistic architecture embraces the multi-faceted complexities of the built environment – a juxtaposition of harmony and balance, light and color, relationship to our surroundings, sustainable building processes, and green materials. Discover below our Small Guide For Holistic Interior Design SMALL GUIDE FOR HOLISTIC INTERIOR DESIGN 1. FIND PURPOSE What’s the purpose of your interior design project? Is it comfortable for children or the elderly? If your client works from home will they need a quiet room to work in? It is better a home office or a library? Or is it a commercial interior design project, such as a medical center or a restaurant? Asking these questions – among others – are essential to holistic interior design. Answering these questions will define the amount and type of furnishings as well as the materials. It will also help you to optimize the space and to choose colors and textures, for instance. Boston Residence, the masterpiece of Steven Harris Architects is the home of a young couple focused on their careers. Spending very little time at home, the couple chooses utilitarian areas over entertaining areas. In order to provide maximum comfort to the owners, Steven Harris used the ground floor to design the master bedroom and the kitchen. The upper floor hosts the entertaining areas and a big home library. Sabina Estate is the holiday home of a British family on the Spanish Balearic Island of Ibiza. The house was designed by architect Jordi Carrenõ with the interior design of Tara Bernerd. To create the perfect holiday home in a paradisiacal destination such as Ibiza, Tara Bernerd created three distinctive areas outdoors – namely pool, living room, and dining room. The open-air entertaining areas led the owner to enjoy the sunlight and to contemplate the stunning view. 2. OPTIMIZE THE SPACE A floor plan layout is a powerful tool of holistic interior design. Think – and plan – the space in advance. Do it to optimize function and comfort but also for wellbeing. Displaying certain objects in certain places can really revolutionize the body, mind, and soul. The ancient Chinese philosophy Feng Shui teaches how to design harmonious spaces where the energy – yours and from inanimate objects’ – flow freely. For instance, according to Feng Shui, the disposition of the bed in the bedroom influences the quality of one’s sleep. Following Feng Shui philosophy, it is better to choose light and soft fabrics. Feng Shui looks for avoiding metal frames, as it fastens the energy flow, which will interrupt your sleep. Moreover, a bed in a feng shui bedroom should have a headrest, since it represents stability and support in life. To learn more about Feng Shui, we suggest you reading How To Decorate According To Chinese Feng Shui Philosophy – an article by Hommés Studio that is a useful tool for holistic interior design. 3. DEFINE THE COLOR PALETTE The psychology of color is a study field broadly applied to interior design. Why? Color psychology relates the color to human behavior. It defends that colors trigger perspectives, feelings, and emotions in humans. While red stands for aggression, orange increases appetite and blue emits a relaxing effect. As a result, holistic interior design requests colors that trigger wellbeing the most. Generally, natural colors are the ones that bring the best vibes. White for peace, yellow for happiness, blue for calmness, and green for prospect. Color Psychology In Interior Design is an article that tells you everything you need to know about pigmentation and human behavior. Nina Maya designs the rebranded Glow by Quayside medical clinic in Sydney. Nina Maya’s predominant colors in this wellness center are white and blue. There are some golden accents as well. For a luxury clinic that offers dermatological treatment, plastic surgeries, skin cancer treatment, and even non-surgical cosmetic procedures it is very important to communicate know-how, commitment, and sophistication. With this color palette, Nina Maya expected to deliver a trustable ambiance – and she did it. Orange is happy and joyful. The juxtaposition of red and yellow results in a warm and fierce color. If you’re working on a restaurant with a holistic interior design concept, orange is the best possible color because it triggers both hunger and sociability. And that is the perfect recipe for a memorable night out, don’t you think? 4. DON’T FORGET ABOUT LIGHTING Lighting may vary according to purpose. On a holistic interior design project, lighting is something more than an essential and functional tool. Lighting, as much as color, outlines the perception of a room. For instance, a medical clinic requires a pale white lighting bulb – that will indicate trustability – while a private dining room matches bulbs with low-intensity warm light. In this manner, the best possible light for at-home wellness rooms in natural light. The holistic architecture delivers homes where space is thought to detail to maximize comfort. Holistic design when integrated into architecture is capable of designing natural light and control the mood of an entire house. The home yoga studio of a yoga teacher in Brazil has a curvy glass wall that lets sunlight inside the yoga studio creates a calming glow. Ananda House is a holistic architecture project by Stemmer Rodrigues architects. Casa Azul by Bak Gordon Architects in Alentejo, Portugal was designed to let the vertical sunlight invade the house with

Get To Know 12 Of The Most Popular Interior Design Styles

In the fashion industry, trends come and go, but true style is forever. It is possible to argue the same for interior design styles, which never genuinely date but rather move in cycles. Understanding all the different interior design styles available to you means you are perfectly prepared to mix and match them and create a truly personalized house that feels unique and special. Art Deco Design Style This decorative art movement was originated in France during the 1910s. As one of the most interior design styles, Art Deco furniture promotes manufactured materials such as glass, plastic, and steel, contrasted with natural materials (jade, silver, and ivory), prioritizing elaborate, decorative, abstract design and geometric forms. With the signature playful, elegant, and expensive-looking style being matched everywhere, Art Deco design was the ultimate representation of modernity during its time. Still treasured today, the Deco aesthetic can be enjoyed in many early 20th century homes and buildings. Bohemian Style Continuing our journey through the most popular interior design styles, it´s time to highlight the Bohemian style. Known as the free-wheeling, relaxed kid of the interiors world, bohemian homes reject to follow a set of design rules. Instead, they will feature a range of textures, materials, and finishes to a unique effect. The interior design style mixes vintage furniture, cushions, light fittings, and rugs with colorful decorative items sourced from all corners of the globe. Bohemian style is known for mixing interior design styles, cultures, and eras. There is usually a strong sense of eclecticism going through bohemian homes. Old pairs with new, opulent pieces reside next to flea market finds, and there is no strict color scheme. Coastal or Hamptons Following the most popular design styles, now we will explore the Coastal style, which is categorized by laid-back interiors, free-smooth living areas. While Hamptons is a more specific style under the coastal banner, both take cues from the surrounding environment. With beautiful and luxurious choices, we can understand why this is one of the most popular interior design styles. Coastal aesthetics range from the luxurious and traditional Hamptons look to a more Spanish-inflected coastal vibe. Usually, these two styles embrace natural fibers like linen and cotton, wicker furniture and light, tropical greenery, and seaside-inspired homewares. Contemporary or modern Of course that a journey through the most popular interior design styles wouldn’t be complete without the contemporary or modern style. To understand this concept, you can hink of contemporary homes as current in every sense of the word. They usually embrace popular interior design trends and combine a variety of styles. The contemporary look is a neutral color palette, with rounded, sculptural homewares and furniture taking center stage. Country cottage or French provincial Now, we head our journey through the most popular styles to the country cottage, which is a close cousin of French provincial. While cottage style usually takes its inspiration from the picturesque houses found in the English countryside, French Provincial is influenced by the style of the French provinces outside of the main cities. They are signified by earthy tones, timber, stonework, brick, fresh-cut flowers, and cozy textures. Both styles lean deeply into the farmhouse aesthetic. Expect to see vintage or rustic furniture, floral and patterned fabrics, and traditional, time-worn homewares like porcelain plates and embroidered cushions. Eclectic or Maximalist Another important highlight to make when discovering the most popular interior design styles is the Eclectic and maximalist. The home with these interior styles takes elements from other popular interior design styles and combines them in new and exciting ways. While eclectic homes take cues from all sorts of design styles and design periods and can end up quite balanced, maximalist homes take a more-is-more approach, favoring bright colors, bold patterns, strong graphics, avant-garde shapes, and eye-catching artworks. Both interior design styles require a carefully curated edit of colors and statement pieces. There needs to be a sense of consistency and design intent for the look not to move into chaotic territory. Industrial Interior Design In the world of interior design styles, Industrial is another design style that deserves a spotlight. This style can be found in signals of the lofts and warehouses in urban and industrial areas, characterized by raw finishes like exposed brick, untreated wood, and metal. Furniture is usually functional and non-decorative, and recent interpretations often include raw timber or concrete floors. Most industrial interior design styles prefer a neutral or monochrome color scheme, and the layout pairs well with black-and-white photography or abstract art. Mid-century modern  One of the most popular interior design styles of the 20th century, the effect of the mid-century is still being felt today. It relates to the surge of creativity that originated from the post-World War II boom of the late’40s, the ’50s and ’60s. As a result, mid-century style is grounded in simple, functional forms, organic or natural-inspired shapes, and democratic furniture design. Architecturally speaking, the geometric lines and large windows are still prescient in modern homes. The mid-century design can be incorporated easily into many interiors — mid-century pairs well with the warm, earthy colors of the ’70s. Minimalist Design We are discovering many interior design styles that focus on ornamentation, but unlike these, minimalist interior design styles highlight the use of simple decorations. The minimalist uses clean, simple lines and a neutral color palette, focusing on sleek and simple architecture. Layouts are usually open and airy, and every object or piece of furniture serves a function or aesthetic purpose. Art is often abstract or modern to match, and modern interpretations go for stone, concrete, and raw timber materials. Rustic Interior Design Style There are many popular interior styles to highlight, and the Rustic is one of the most popular and is found in homes worldwide. The Rustic relates to a natural and pared-back style and favors simplicity and authenticity over prominent design displays. While the meaning of the word itself might suggest anything rural or country, interior design can include a range of interior design styles, from farmhouses to log cabins to

This Luxury Villa in Ibiza Is The Perfect Holiday Home

Designed by architect Jordi Carreño this luxury villa in Ibiza gained life with the interior design of Tara Bernerd and the stunning Mediterranean landscape design of Andrea Sanchez. The modernist villa in the Spanish Balearic Island is one of the first villas of Sabina Estate – a real estate portfolio of Anton Bilton. The property developer asked 18 different designers to deliver individual island homes in which architecture and landscape merge. MODERNIST LUXURY VILLA IN IBIZA Anton Bilton requested a modernist villa on the north side of Ibiza with a luxurious and contemporary flair – and architect Jordi Carreño, interior designer Tara Bernerd, and landscape designer Andrea Sanchez delivered it. It took three years to finish the project – with the last stage in charge of Tara Bernerd happening right in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, with travel restrictions and leading times delaying the villa’s furnishing. Honoring the landscape and local creatives was a priority for everyone involved in the design of this luxury villa in Ibiza. In this manner, Jordi Carreño designed a modernist house with floor-to-ceiling glass walls that suck the Mediterranean sunlight from inside the house that Tara Bernerd decorated with neutral colors. The architect also came up with rugged walls, both on the facade and inside of this luxury villa in Ibiza. This feature highlights the thought-to-detail connection indoors-outdoors. Linking indoors to outdoors was essential in a modern house in which the poolside is the main entertaining area. Tara Bernard created an outdoor living room in the Mediterranean-style garden that Andrea Sanchez designed. The landscape designer mimics the whimsical Mediterranean landscape with olive trees allowing shading areas surrounding the pool and lavender pathways perfuming the garden of the modernist luxury villa in Ibiza. In the interior of the house designed by Jordi Carreño and surrounded by Ibiza’s natural landscape and the garden of Andrea Sanchez, Tara Bernerd created a harmonious, relaxed, and refined family home. The inside of the luxury villa in Ibiza is a contemporary luxury interpretation of the Mediterranean design style and an idol of il dolce far niente. Just like Tara Bernerd got thrilled for designing the interior of this luxury villa in Ibiza, you’ll be thrilled at Hommés Studio collection of modern luxury furniture which you can download here. Connect to the sky in The Pink House in Vietnam by 23o5 Studio

23o5 Studio designed The Pink House in Vietnam with closeness, expansion, and tranquility in mind. A large opening with space connecting the sky and the building, has a metaphorical and evocative connotation of the small image of a man in the eyes of vast nature. The Pink House Exterior The house has a circular roof opening that brings to mind a connection to the sky. The studio used natural, earthy colors palette and granite in the project. The idea was to blur the boundaries between the inside and outside of the building. Huge amounts of windows allow for a clear visual connection to the pool and the greenery patios. Besides, green accents connect to the solid structure of the Pink House. This procedure brings a peaceful and quite joyful atmosphere to the whole structure. The large circle opening to the sky has its metaphorical meaning. It generates the insignificance of humanity amid the vast nature. Undoubtedly, the Pink House in Vietnam is a space of deeper feelings. The stillness in space brings people to deeply feel themselves. The Pink House Interior The design studio’ s obsession with Serenity, Silence and Intimacy when it comes to the contemplation of a living space setting. The Pink House’s living room and kitchen area link together and open the whole view towards the pool, where the light transitions between day and night. The project is designed along the vertical axis of the plan. The bedrooms have their own space and differ from each other. Each hidden corner in the house is a place to contemplate the natural and calm values. What is more, the light in the house is manipulated. As a result, it, directly and indirectly, separates the space into different components. How To Design A Luxury Outdoor Kitchen?

What to consider when designing a luxury outdoor kitchen? Where to place the outdoor kitchen around the courtyard? And how much space do we need? These are some of the questions that come to anyone’s mind when we find ourselves with an outdoor kitchen design project in our hands. Some may even question whether a trash can is required or not, and what kitchen appliances are essential to a luxury outdoor kitchen. There are 6 essentials topics to take into account before designing a luxury outdoor kitchen. 1. LOCATION Where to place the luxury outdoor kitchen? Always try to place it next to the indoor kitchen. Why? It is more efficient – some kitchen appliances can be shared such as the refrigerator. In addition, you’ll be closer to some essential items like plates, for instance. 2. PROTECT IT FROM CLIMATE VARIABILITY An outdoor kitchen must resist climate variability, don’t you think so? To high-quality and weather-resistant materials, a luxury kitchen design must look for the environment back. A shady spot on the courtyard is the best place to design the outdoor kitchen. However, places under trees and vegetation must be avoided since dry leaves and sticks are organic incinerators. The best option for an outdoor kitchen design is to create a shelter to accommodate the cooking space. 3. WEATHER-RESISTANT MATERIALS A kitchen must be functional – both an indoor and an outdoor kitchen. Everything is about functionality, the right materials that are purposeful and comfortable. These needs are amplified by outdoor kitchens – they do not demand to be functional only but they also demand to resist harsh climate variations. In this manner, materials such as stainless steel, wood, concrete, and UV-protected stone must be your prime materials for designing a luxury outdoor kitchen. 4. CONSIDER NEIGHBORS COMFORT Think about neighbors. Will barbecue smoke get inside your neighbors’ property without permission? Is it a good idea to install a vent hood on an outdoor kitchen? Probably, it is. 5. CUSTOMIZE YOUR LUXURY OUTDOOR KITCHEN How much space do you need to design an outdoor space? The best way to answer this question is to design a customized kitchen where both available space and the kitchen’s purpose are balanced. 6. LIGHTING Lighting is one of the most important things in interior design – they set and change entirely the room’s mood. This way, lighting can define how the cooking space is perceived among the courtyard by guests. Is the luxury outdoor kitchen too raw? Is it inviting and welcoming and disguises with the entertaining areas or is it too sterile? In luxury outdoor kitchen design light can be a game-changer. The Eiffel Tower Is The Real Attraction At This Fascinating Home

Designer Damien Langlois-Meurinne has transformed the dated Paris home of Saudi Arabian royals into a fascinating home with contemporary flair. For French interior designer Damien Langlois-Meurinne, the Eiffel Tower offers a significant presence for the French capital and this rare and exclusive Paris home. “It is such an important part of the city, with its force and splendor,” says the acclaimed designer whose point of view is unique when designing one-of-a-kind residences. “It watches over Paris at night with its glow of light, and it is such a steady that you sometimes almost forget that it is there. So, it is great to revive it from a new perspective and to become fascinated by it once again.” That was what happened when Langlois-Meurinne first visited the 550 sq/m apartment on the opposite side of the Seine, belonging to a Saudi Arabian sheik. An early 20th-century house juts out a little further than its neighbors, thus affording it a breathtaking view of the world-famous monument. The five-bedroom home has been in the same family for decades. The apartment was linked via an internal staircase to the flat below to form an almost mind-bogglingly expansive duplex. The duplex combined two hair salons, two kitchens, a vast dining room, and a secret room hidden behind a fake wardrobe. More unexpectedly, there was also a 20-square-meter swimming pool. At the same time, it was stuck in something of a stylistic time warp, having not been renovated since the Eighties. “The decoration was solid, and there was a whole succession of rooms with minimal purpose,” says Langlois-Meurinne.   Moreover, the layout took slight advantage of the views, which were obstructed by a maze-like arrangement of corridors, and had been almost totally deprived of all its remarkable architectural details. The only elements Langlois-Meurinne managed to reclaim were two marble fireplaces. Otherwise, he completely gutted the space. As in most of his projects, his main goal was building strong angles. Additionally, submerging the interior with as much natural light as possible, and bringing newfound flexibility to its circulation. For him, this Paris home’s new layout was something of a no-brainer. The public rooms were placed at the front, where the views are spectacular, while the bedrooms were planned further back. You enter via a long gallery consisting of two spaces divided by a razor-sharp bronze arch. The marble floors are decorated, first with a sunburst theme and then with a striped design that takes you towards the dining room. The palette throughout is primarily noteworthy for its restraint. The apartment has such a robust dialogue with the exterior, and the existence of the sky is omnipresent. So, the designer did not feel the need to have intense hues to the fascinating home. Langlois-Meurinne’s work is constantly based on balance, and the scheme here is no exception. At this Paris home, rounded forms of the furnishings playoff against the more direct lines of the architecture. Conventional elements talk with a few more contemporary decorations. That is, the fireplace in the sitting room, whose chimney breast looks almost as if it has been draped in a plaster robe. . You may also like: . Furthermore, more dramatic elements offset quieter moments, the latter generally limited to secondary spaces, such as corridors or passageways. One of those is the collection of art, built with the help of the Paris-based consultant Nicolas Beutler. Given the size of the flat, it was essential to build in a bit of diversity to avoid it becoming too monotonous. That meant choosing for works in different media and by artists of different origins. Among them are a painting by Nicolas Delprat, a photograph by Matt Saunders, and Not Vital’s aluminum sculpture of an oversized lotus flower. Langlois-Meurinne still evidently remembers his client’s reaction when he saw them hanging in the fascinating home. “He gave us an immense amount of creative flexibility and did not visit during the whole of the renovation. So, for him, there was a real sense of delight and surprise. The rare Paris home looks so different now. It was like coming to a different place.” If you still want to collect inspiration for your interior design project, discover the Lifestyle Interiors board by Hommés Studio on Pinterest or read our article GET TO KNOW THIS UNIQUE MANSION IN THE HEART OF PARIS here. The Best Celebrity Closets For Closet Design Ideas

What’s the best source of inspiration for closet design if not at celebrity closets’? They have the most exclusive mansions in the most exclusive neighborhoods – and the most exclusive interior designers. They also have a lot of clothing pieces (that go from casual to white tie dressing code), shoes, and accessories that demand organization but are showcasing worthy. LIV TAYLOR’S MIDCENTURY CLOSET DESIGN In her home in West Village, Manhattan, Liv Taylor keeps the original charm of the townhouse. The entire top floor of her home serves as a master suite in this light-filled and expansive walk-in closet. A classic wardrobe in white painted wood is highlighted by the floor-to-ceiling windows. Chicken-wire panels allow closet doors to remain transparent. A silver leaf de Gournay vintage wallpaper covers the walls. On the ceiling, there’s a vintage midcentury Italian suspension lamp. Similar lighting fixtures are found around the house – this unifies the interior design of Liv Taylor’s home in West Village. TAN FRANCE’S CUSTOMIZED CLOSET Queer Eye‘s fashion specialist Tan France moved into a new home in Salt Lake City and hired closet design expert Alice Lane to pull off a stunning closet on the attic of his home. Tan France’s customized closet is chic and funny – like France himself. DAKOTA JOHNSON’S MIDCENTURY MODERN CLOSET Dakota Johnson lives in Carl Maston’s modernist house in Los Angeles. With love for a detached and gypsy lifestyle, Dakota Johnson’s home is the expression of her bohemian aesthetics. Her wood walk-in closet and dressing room combines an eclectic rug with a vintage armchair and a velvet mustard stool that serves as a side table. ELTON JOHN’S SHOE CLOSET DESIGN John Elton’s shoe collection is so extraordinary that the Rocket Man doesn’t need much – his minimalist shoe closet is primarily functional. The mirror ceiling reflects the varied colors of Elton John’s unique shoes. CHELSEA HANDLER’S CONTEMPORARY CLOSET Chelsea Handler’s closet is contemporary – so does she and her entire home. JASON STATHAM’S SMALL CLOSET DESIGN Jason Statham closets ain’t small – they are compact since you find everything you need in small available space. Like the rest of Jason Statham’s minimal home, the closets have crisp lines. A 1900s shaving mirror adds both function and style to the sleek closet design.
