Georg Kayser, a German interior designer, based in the city, is the architect of everything. Kayserstudio was founded in 2014 to create a very own vision of designing bespoke interiors and architectural spaces in general, paying the most significant attention to detail. A solid commitment to the collaborative aspects of creating architecture and interiors is of particular importance for them.
The tiles of Paseo de Gracia and the modernist facades of Barcelona are the inspiration for this sophisticated apartment in Poblenou.
In the dining room, the walnut lattice inspired by the Coderch façades accommodates the guest bedroom. Bespoke granite table, Beetle chairs by Gubi, and lamps by Lee Broom.
In the working corner of the bedroom, a 1950s desk, in Ox Poblenou, with a Z lamp by Louis Kalff for Philips. Additionally, stools by Warren Platner for Knoll, a painting by Nicola Verlato, and a sculpture by Yang Maoyuan.
In the master bedroom, bed by Coco-Mat, bedside tables and lamps designed by Kayser, ceiling Orb by Bolia, and still life by Christian Rex van Minnen.
In the main bathroom, custom-made Belvedere granite sink, Ceadesign tap, and Juan Béjar oil painting.
At the entrance, a brass wall and latticework designed by Kayser with an ancient Christ, Gaudí de Torra’s hydraulic mosaic floor, Up lamp by Atelier Areti, and background painting by Giorgio Dante.
The original moldings were painted white or colored depending on the spaces. In the background, the kitchen, designed by Kayser with noble materials such as black granite, brass, and tinted mirror. Bosch appliances and Ceadesign faucet.
In the guest bedroom, wooden latticework was inspired by the facades of Barcelona, oil by Sebastian Meschenmoser, vintage ceiling lamp and side table, both in Ox Poblenou, and Daphine wall lamp Lumina.
