As we’ll see in this Modern Sanctuary, Argyle design a husband and wife team that merges organic shapes with strong edges.
This stunning contemporary home in Brooklyn’s Red Hook neighborhood is full of bold statements and cozy moments. But, before we go any further into this Modern Sanctuary, we’ll tell you a little more about the Argyle design.
Kat Bell and James Drew, are the founders of Argyle Design in Los Angeles. The large wild vision and detailed know-how required for that task were vital for putting together this enormous living room in Red Hook, Brooklyn. “We only had three weeks to conceive and implement the entire project,” Bell explains. “And the client’s prompts were ‘comfy’ and moody,’ despite the fact that the ceilings are twenty-four feet high!”
According to Argyle Design, their goal was to transform this 6,000-square-foot industrial home with 20-foot ceilings into a comfortable and creative modern sanctuary. This one-of-a-kind residence is a modern sanctuary in the center of the city, including many Argyle design original ideas in furniture and art.
The broad living area has to have an industrial framework. Still, the playful feeling the room creates is because of the intriguing and extinguished furniture with its diverse shapes, textures, and matching colors and tones.
The Argyle design added structure and color to this modern Sanctuary and made the area appear brighter and more cheerful. The brilliant hues chosen are vital in conveying a more personal, comfortable, and, most importantly, calming sense.
As we can see in the photographs above, which are still in the living room, this modern sanctuary features an outdoor space with some chairs, a round table, and a parasol surrounded by nature. The living area features a one-of-a-kind green wave sofa, round armchairs, and wood and stone centerpieces. The blue shelves are adorned with decorative things.
In this Modern sanctuary is important to make the room not only creative but also immersively calm where HOMMÉS Studio has impressive suggestions to add. Making the Brooklyn residence unique and artistic.
The dining room is adjacent to the living room, and in front of it is the kitchen, where Argyle’s design chooses to emphasize the nude tones by combining the distinct wood tones in the two areas. The dining area features a huge dining table with a brighter tone of wood and striking dark brown chairs. The tones work pretty much everything and add a warm touch to this modern Sanctuary.
The kitchen island is made of wood and white marble and matches the rest of the kitchen correctly. The island chair adds nothing to the dimension, and above the counter is an industrial ceiling light, which they attempted to give the same feature as the home construction.
Argyle Design chose to put these two rooms in a comfortable and relaxing design style. The kitchen is a space where most likely the homeowners will have a great time inventing and making food creations of their own, so is a need to choose not only comfort as well as the distinctive elegance that HOMMÉS Studio can provide.
The bedroom of this modern Sanctuary is where the greener spaces take place. Green is a hue that can elicit strong emotions. It is a dominating color in nature that conjures up images of expansion. Consider the enormous range of green tints that reflect regeneration and life in nature. And that’s exactly the feeling that Argyle Design wants to convey to the homeowners.
Combining the green with more natural tones such as the wood furniture and the bold and dark hues found throughout the room. Argyle Design appears to have paid close attention to the room’s materials. The bed features silk covers, and all of the furniture is constructed of wood, emphasizing natural materials.
Because the bedroom is where the homeowners sleep, it is critical to make it more comfortable and welcoming. A space where people can unwind after long days at work. HOMMÉS Studio has some suggestions to help the growth of the relaxing and free feeling to come out with the furniture as well.
The bathroom was designed by the brilliant Argyle Design duo and is set in this stunning modern sanctuary where plants flourish and the sense of relaxation is greater than in any other space.
This darker room features a dusky bath that contrasts with the gray wood floor by combining natural tones. A lot of natural light brings out the colors in this modern sanctuary bathroom and makes it appear and feel bigger. Natural light warms the air, encouraging circulation and keeping it fresh. The fluffy white rug gives a comfortable feeling to it.
Look at the darker room of this magnificent modern sanctuary, where Red is a significant character. This red sitting room is defined by its vintage. The gold embellishments, stylish miniature woman sculpture vases, colorful sofa, and red marble center table are the highlights of this room. Argyle Design makes this space stand out by connecting all of the items in the room with a crimson carpet. This space exudes a more refined air.
